This small specimen is typical of Tsumeb and the variety of minerals found there, especially copper minerals. The piece comes from the collection of G. Hoffmann (Jena, Germany) and consists of the following minerals: malachite psm after azurite, azurite, brochantite and arsentsumebite. There may be one or two other minerals on the piece. What is striking, in any case, is the strong, attractive contrast between the deep blue, highly lustrous azurite and the adjacent pseudomorphs after malachite. A very good specimen, which is formed as a floater.
