Azurite – Copper Queen Mine (US)

This is an exceptionally interesting piece from the Copper Queen mine in Arizona. The specimen consists of a reddish-grey matrix on which sits a single azurite crystal, which is perfectly crystallized and partially altered to malachite. The crystal is undamaged and approx. 8 mm in size. The luster and the dark blue color are excellent.
