In 2025, iron roses were found in a salt dome in Iran, presumably for the first time in Iran. It was a small find with only a few good pieces. Most of the hematite was found without matrix, as was the case with this specimen. It is a very beautiful specimen of high-gloss hematite with the typical structure of an iron rose.
