Quartz var. Prase –Serifos (GRE)

Collecting is forbidden in Serifos today, but the past some exciting minerals have been found there. The green variety of quartz, prase, is famous and part of many collections in the world. This specimen shows may intensive green crystals on matrix. The highlight is the single large and undamaged crystal. Some minor magnetite pseudomorph after hematite is also present.
