Zunyite, Hematite – Larak island (IRN)

Larak is a small island in der Persian Gulf. It is pretty unknown in the mineral world, so far. It is a new location for zunyite in Iran, also in association with hematite. Specimens from this locality are different; they are not colored by hematite and show a light color.

Please note: this island is a restricted area, there are no more specimens to expect.
