Stibnite – Baiut (ROM)

This particular specimen was part of the collection of Oliver Konzcer, a well-known Austrian collector. Among worldwide locations one of his special interest was the minerals from Romania. This specimen consists of very fine crystallized stibnite with a major center-crystal in the middle. It is surrounded by smaller, also perfect terminated crystals. As all mines in Maramures are closed since the 90s, there’s no new material to expect. Quality specimens like this, became rare and high valued on the market.
