This specimen is something very special: galena from an alpine cleft. galena is only known from a few alpine sites, often from small ore deposits. But cleft-galena is a real rarity. This small specimen consists of a galena crystal with really good crystallization and high luster. A little matrix is found at the base of the specimen. Something for the advanced collector.
