Descloizite –Tsumeb (NAM)

Tsumeb is well known for many world-class specimens. Descloizite haven’t been found that much. Nevertheless the area produced some fine samples of this mineral, too. Here is a very beautiful specimen with 2 generations of decloizite. The front side is covered by hundreds of dark grey crystals while the backside shows brownish, stretched crystals and a secondary mineral. The item comes with 2 original labels, one of them is glued on the backside. The item is probably from the Friesenberg prospect in the Tsumeb area.
