Calcite, Malachite – Tsumeb (NAM)

Calcite is one of the most interesting minerals in Tsumeb, due to its combinations with other minerals and the abundance of crystal forms. These are highly lustrous small isolated calcite crystals with dark green malachite on matrix. The combination is very attractive and the transparency of the calcite is surprising.
