Calcite – Pribram (CZ)

During hundreds of years of mining the Pribram district produced thousands of fine minerals specimens. That’s why Pribram belongs to the classic locations in Europe, for sure. This calcite specimen consists of big calcite crystals on the front. The habit is similar to specimens from China, but the item has a good color in short UV-light. I was told that this is a typical indicator for the locality of Pribram.
