The combination of calcite and quartz from the Alps is not so common. Calcite is usually already dissolved due to the influence of weathering. This is a very attractive combination of smoky quartz and two generations of calcite. The specimen has a high contrast and is undamaged. Please note the highly lustrous, beautifully colored smoky quartz together with the slightly dissolved calcite crystal (3 cm large). An exceptional combination in very good condition.
