The Banska Stiavnica area is well known for their mining history, ore mining basically. But also known for great quartz specimens; scepters as well. One of the locations in this area is the Sobov quarry. This item shows a perfect developed quartz scepter surrounded by some smaller crystals at the matrix. The scepter is excellent terminated and shows a fine luster. No damage.
