Quartz, Calcite – Val Cavrein (CH)

I was looking for special mineral specimens from Switzerland lately. That's why I found this unusual item. It was found by a swiss collector in 2017. The specimen is in very good condition and shows some really nice quartz-crystals at the base. The quartz is high lustrous and clear. But the highlight is the calcite right in the middle. It is a flat crystal with an interesting structure and free standing. Be sure to get something exotic.
