Malachite psm. Azurite, Duftite – Tsumeb (NAM)

This Tsumeb specimen is a classic: azurite psm. after malachite. The specimen, which also features light green duffertite, comes from the G. Hoffman collection (Jena, Germany). A very interesting specimen with a 3.2 cm long, sharp-edged azurite crystal psm. after malachite in the center. Surrounding it are thicker, partially dissolved crystals, the azurite on the side still retaining its deep blue color.
