Fluorite – El Papiol (ESP)

This is the best fluorite from Berta quarry/Berta mine I have seen for many years. Usually fluorite from this location comes as small crystals without definable forms. This specimen is different in two ways: it shows pretty large fluorite-crystals up to 1 cm size and they are clearly developed as octahedrons. It’s an older specimen that was discovered before 1988. There is nothing comparable available these days.
